Job summary

Incyte seeks an Associate Director, Sales Training for Hematology/Oncology to lead the strategic design, delivery, and evolution of training programs that drive commercial excellence for the hematology/oncology sales team.

The role reports to the Senior Director, Oncology Training Lead and emphasizes coaching, facilitation, and a rigorous training curriculum that aligns with field performance and market dynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5 years successful sales experience in hematology/oncology preferred.
• 3–5 years of training experience or equivalent required.
• Ability to effectively lead without authority.
• High level of professionalism and team orientation.
• High clinical affinity and ability to master new clinical areas.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Ability to excel in a cross functional and matrix environment.
• Strong problem-solving and presentation skills.
• Experience navigating the MLR review process and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop training materials and learning experiences that are scientifically accurate, commercially relevant, and compliant with MLR standards.
• Design, develop and deliver training curriculum and content including disease state, clinical, strategic and/or skill-based training.
• Lead development, coordination, and facilitation of training programs such as new hire classes, virtual workshops, National Meeting workshops, learning modules, Launch training and other training.
• Manage vendors when designing and developing training content.
• Develop and institute metrics to assess training success.
• Facilitate classroom environments for adult learning and clinical/sales proficiency.
• Coach and provide feedback to representatives during training sessions.
• Independently design, execute and facilitate National/Regional Sales Meeting training workshops.
• Manage training projects through the Medical, Legal and Regulatory review process.
• Facilitate live and virtual training sessions of varied sizes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support corporate strategy.
