Viridian Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Modeling and Simulation to advance the Biometric Sciences function. You will lead hands-on modeling, clinical trial simulation, and innovative statistics to inform study design and portfolio strategy.

This role is based in our Waltham, MA headquarters, which would be a hybrid role, or it can also be fully remote. Office days are three per week; travel to headquarters may be required for meetings at management's discretion.

Formación

• Requires a PhD in statistics, biostatistics or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience or MS with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in statistical computing languages and infrastructure (R, python, HPC, git, etc.)
• Experience in clinical trial study design optimization through simulation methods to characterize study design performance
• Expertise in statistical modeling related to clinical trial analysis and portfolio decision‑making including Bayesian modeling, joint modeling, GLMs, estimands, multiple comparisons, adaptive design analysis, and benefit risk
• High proficiency in the analysis of large data sets utilizing machine learning and large language models
• Manage a broad set of activities with competing and aggressive timelines, prioritize activities, and work independently; able to work in a quickly changing environment
• Strong verbal and/or written communications skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
• The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience

Responsabilidades

• Build and analyze a scalable clinical-trial data repository by integrating raw/standardized datasets (SDTM, ADaM)
• Support multiple departments with advanced quantitative and analytical expertise
• Provide analytical support for study design optimization and simulation-based methods
• Apply AI solutions to support data review from ongoing clinical programs
• Conduct PK/PD analyses using model-informed drug development approaches
• Generate analytical inputs and data-driven insights for publications and abstracts
