Job summary

Viridian Therapeutics, Inc. seeks a Director of Biostatistics in Waltham, MA (hybrid or remote). You will lead statistical strategy across clinical programs, supervise teams, and partner with CROs to deliver high-quality analyses for regulatory submissions.

You should have a PhD (or equivalent) with 8+ years in biotech/pharma, strong SAS/R/Python skills, and a record of successful BLA/NDA submissions. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent) with 8+ years in biotech/pharma/clinical research
• MS with 12+ years in biotech/pharma/clinical research
• Strong statistics knowledge and problem-solving in clinical settings
• Experience with FDA/EU/ICH guidelines and regulatory submissions

Responsibilities

• Lead biostatistics strategy for clinical studies and manage teams
• Apply innovative statistical methods to improve study designs and analyses
• Collaborate with data management and CROs to ensure data quality
• Oversee statistical sections of development plans and SAPs
• Guide contractors and mentoring of team members
• Interact with regulators on statistical questions and submissions
