Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado seeks an Associate Director, Mid-Level Giving to expand donor engagement and grow mid-level gifts. Based in Denver, you will manage a portfolio of 100+ donors and prospects, conduct personal visits, and connect supporters with VOA's programs across Colorado.

You will identify new donors, solicit gifts, and provide stewardship while achieving engagement goals and maintaining an active gift pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience in fundraising, development, sales, or donor engagement.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 100+ mid-level donors and prospects, cultivating and stewarding gifts.
• Identify and qualify new donors; prepare donor-centered proposals and connect with program leaders.
• Set fundraising goals, maintain a donor pipeline, and report progress monthly/quarterly.
• Document donor contacts in Salesforce and coordinate next steps with the major gifts team.
• Build relationships through in-person meetings, calls, and program tours.
