Job summary

VOA Colorado is seeking a Senior Director of Volunteer Services in Denver to lead statewide volunteer engagement, AmeriCorps programs, and partnerships. You will drive strategy, recruit and supervise teams, and oversee data systems like Salesforce to measure impact and outcomes.

The role requires 7–10 years of supervisory experience, strong stakeholder collaboration, and a commitment to VOA’s mission and data-informed decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area or the equivalent.
• Five years direct experience administration, program design, training, implementation, monitoring and reporting skills.
• Own transportation, valid Colorado driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Experience with volunteer management required.

Responsibilities

• Lead statewide volunteer strategy and implementation across statewide teams.
• Develop and oversee volunteer recruitment, onboarding, placement, and recognition systems.
• Manage and improve volunteer data infrastructure, including Salesforce dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with legal, grant, and AmeriCorps standards across programs.
• Supervise statewide volunteer data entry and quality control within Salesforce.
• Monitor retention strategies using feedback loops and impact storytelling.
• Prepare and manage budgets for Volunteer Services and AmeriCorps programs.
