Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an Associate Director, Leadership Development and Skills Enablement to own the enterprise learning strategy for leadership development, establishing global curricula and role-based learning experiences for emerging, first-line, and senior leaders.

The role collaborates with Medical, Market Access, Sales, Operations and Marketing, designing scalable capability programs, measuring impact, and advising executives on priorities and readiness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, organizational psychology, or related field (required).
  • 10 years in L&D/Leadership Development/HR or related leadership roles (required), preferably specialty pharmaceuticals/biotech.
  • 2+ years training experience delivering adult learning and distance learning solutions.
  • Leadership experience with skills models and cross-functional collaboration; product operating model experience.
  • Pharmaceuticals/regulated industry experience preferred.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Organizational Development, or relevant graduate degree).

Key Responsibilities:
  • - Own and execute the enterprise learning strategy for Leadership Development; establish global curricula, skill development pathways, and role-based learning experiences for emerging, first-line, and senior leaders.
  • - Create, evolve, and implement cohesive, customer-centric skills models for sales, medical, and market access roles in the field.
  • - Serve as a strategic advisor to Medical, Market Access, Sales, Operations, and Marketing on leadership development priorities, skills gaps, and organizational readiness.
  • - Design and scale role-based capability development programs covering coaching, strategic decision‑making, performance management, and leading through change.
  • - Advance leadership excellence via integrated learning, change management, and capability‑building strategies.
  • - Partner with cross‑functional and Data & Enablement leaders on learning solutions for adoption of the Global Capability Operating Model (roles, responsibilities, decision rights, ways of working).
  • - Develop and oversee programs enabling leaders to apply enterprise data and insights to drive decisions and coach teams.
  • - Present capability insights, adoption metrics, risks, recommendations, and readiness assessments to executives.
  • - Establish measurement frameworks for learning effectiveness, skills adoption, behavior change, and organizational impact; continuously evolve priorities.
  • - Build L&D organizational capability through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and best‑practice development.
Collaboration:
  • - Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure content is accurate, practical, and compliant; engage regional stakeholders for consistent adoption.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
  • - Leadership development frameworks and skills/competency modeling; expertise with adult learning, instructional design, content development, and training delivery.
  • - LMS, virtual training tools, Microsoft Office; experience designing role‑based training using adult learning principles.
  • - Ability to operate in a matrixed, enterprise environment; create training metrics and measure learning impact.
