Job summary

Takeda is seeking an Associate Director, Lab Asset Management in our Cambridge/Boston area to lead strategic and operational oversight of laboratory asset maintenance. You will coordinate with on-site third-party vendors, set performance standards, and drive cost savings while ensuring assets are compliant and available for research priorities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site third-party lab asset management vendor to coordinate maintenance, calibrations, and repairs across US R&D sites
• Define governance, escalation pathways, and performance standards for service delivery
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs, response times, and vendor financials to ensure value and uptime
• Partner with scientific, finance, and procurement teams to maximize asset uptime and cost savings
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance planning, data quality, and governance across sites
