Job summary

Takeda is seeking an Associate Director of Lab Asset Management in Boston to oversee laboratory equipment maintenance and service operations across U.S. R&D sites.

You will lead third-party vendor oversight for preventative maintenance, calibrations, repairs; develop performance metrics; optimize asset lifecycle and budgets; and collaborate with scientific, finance, procurement and operations teams to improve service delivery, cost efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering, operations or related field.
• Extensive experience in laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, and vendor management in regulated biotech/pharma environments.
• Proficiency in service model strategies, performance analytics, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead third-party vendor oversight for preventative maintenance, calibrations and repairs.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics for lab assets.
• Optimize asset lifecycle, reduce downtime and manage budgets for maintenance activities.
