Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking an Associate Director, IO Forecasting in the United States to own the end-to-end IO forecasting agenda for a flagship Immuno-Oncology brand. You will lead forecasting, scenario planning, and stakeholder storytelling to inform strategy, launches, and resource allocation.

You will partner with Insights & Analytics, Marketing, and Finance to deliver transparent, evidence-based forecasts and advance AI-enabled forecasting capabilities across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• 4 years of forecasting experience with 2 years in biopharma.
• Deep expertise in building pharmaceutical forecast models.
• Experience with analytics from pharma data sources (IQVIA, APLD, claims).
• Experience with primary market research, advanced analytics, and competitive intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Lead US forecasting and business planning for IO products.
• Build and refine short- and long-term forecast models.
• Identify key drivers, quantify risks and opportunities, and develop scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align assumptions and narrative.
• Deliver analyses linking performance to strategic decisions.
• Advance AI-enabled forecasting capabilities and automation.
• Monitor market developments and reflect changes in forecasts.
