Job summary

Lyndon Institute is seeking a dynamic, hands-on leader to apply for the position of Associate Director of Information Services. Ultimately, the Associate Director of Technology will advance to the Directors position by July 2027.

The role provides strategic vision, leadership, management, and technical expertise to guide Lyndon Institute in establishing and maintaining an outstanding technology program for staff, faculty, students, and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Experience managing and/or directing an effective team in an education setting.
• Experience in IS infrastructure, strategic planning, policy development, project management, and team building.
• Physical ability to lift 50lbs and traverse stairs.
• Ability to work in 100+ year old buildings with steep staircases and dirt floor basements.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the management of a comprehensive technology plan that includes infrastructure, standard operating procedures, staffing, instructional integration, professional development, on-going support, disaster recovery, incident reporting and emergency response plans.
• Serve as the technical expert and liaison on all matters pertaining to the operation, upgrade and maintenance of the school’s internet and network services.
• Oversee the operation of the phone system, intercom, campus copiers/peripheral equipment
