Job summary

Virginia Tech's HokieVision team is seeking an Associate Director / In-Venue Experience to lead in-venue videoboard shows and run the control room at home events.

You will collaborate with the Athletics leadership to plan department initiatives and serve as the department representative for select sport squads, reporting to the Assistant AD of In-Venue Experience. A degree plus experience and live production skills are required, with nights/weekends expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with significant experience, or a master's degree.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team setting and be self-motivated.
• Professional live game control room production experience.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

HokieVision's goal is to deliver personalized, significant and unexpected experiences to fans at all of Virginia Tech's home venues. As part of the HokieVision team, the Associate Director / In-Venue Experience, will work to entertain the best college fans in the country.

This position is part of the In-Venue Experience team, and will assist in developing, producing, and executing videoboard shows. Job responsibilities include planning and creating in-venue videoboard shows and working in the control room to execute them. The selected candidate will work with the Athletics external leadership team to plan and execute department initiatives. This position will also be the department representative in select sport squads. The position will report to the Assistant AD of In-Venue Experience.

• Experience supervising or training students.
