Job summary

Catholic Charities-Dept For Persons With Disabilities (DPD) in New Jersey is seeking an Associate Director to work with the Program Director to deliver high-quality services in our group homes. The role includes direct care responsibilities and supervising staff to maintain residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities also involve scheduling, financial and home management, health monitoring, thorough documentation, and collaboration with agency and DHS staff during inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Special Education or related field or 1 year of supervisory experience with people with developmental disabilities.
• Must have a driver's license valid in New Jersey and good driving record.
• Knowledge of computer programs required.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with the Program Director to provide quality services in the home.
• Interview, hire and supervise staff to maintain quality of life for residents.
• Schedule staff, manage finances and home operations; monitor health issues and clothing needs.
