Job summary

Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD) is one of the largest Catholic Charities Agencies providing care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the United States. We are looking for dedicated, caring and compassionate people to work in our Group Homes.

The Associate Director works with the program Director to provide quality services, supervise staff, and ensure Medicaid billing compliance, ISP planning, and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; a B.A. degree in Special Education or related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a day habilitation program.
• Must have a driver's license valid in New Jersey with limited points.
• Ability to learn and use computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and supervision to staff; review and improve staff performance.
• Assist in orientation and training procedures for new staff.
• Supervise program staff and service recipients, ensure ISP documentation and Medicaid fee-for-service notes are accurate.
• Coordinate ISP planning with Support Coordinators and supervise ISP implementation.
• Collaborate with Director on administrative tasks, payroll, and program budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with Medicaid standards, laws, and agency policies.
