Catholic Charities in New Jersey is seeking a Direct Support Professional - Program Assistant to join our Department for Persons with Disabilities. This full-time role supports adults in group homes, assists with daily activities, meals, medications, and documentation.

You will work with the Program Director and staff to maintain high standards, participate in training, and share on-call responsibilities. Benefits include paid training and health coverage.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred.
• 18 years of age or older with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid NJ driver’s license with up to 5 points and ability to drive agency vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Program Director to provide quality services in the home.
• Supervise and train residential counselors with the Director/Associate Director.
• Prepare menus, groceries, activities, and ensure medications are stocked.
• Document health/clothing needs and coordinate with external agencies as needed.
