Job summary

Catholic Charities' Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD) is seeking an Associate Director to work with the Program Director in our group homes, delivering quality services and upholding the agency philosophy. You will balance direct care with staffing oversight and administrative duties to ensure residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• B.A. degree preferred in Special Education or related field or 1 year of supervisory experience with people with developmental disabilities.
• Must have a driver's license valid in New Jersey and driving record in good standing. Knowledge of computer programs required.
• Flexibility to meet the needs of the program; schedule subject to change; On-call requirements. Must attend Staff Meetings.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with the Program Director to provide quality services to residents in the home.
• Interview, hire and supervise staff to maintain high quality of life for residents.
• Handle scheduling, financial management, home management, and monitoring health issues.
• Maintain written documentation and use of the computer; cooperate with administration during inspections.
