Job summary

St. John's Community Health is seeking an Associate Director of Fiscal Grants Management in Los Angeles, CA. This senior role leads financial administration, post-award compliance, and audit readiness for a large grants portfolio.

The candidate will supervise four staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate Single Audit activities while partnering with internal teams and external auditors to safeguard grant funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent.
• CPA, CIA, or CFE preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of grants administration, grant accounting, compliance, audit or financial management experience.
• Experience managing 100+ grants across multiple federal, state, and local programs.
• 5+ years of supervision experience.
• Experience with Single Audits and grants accounting requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Grant Administrators and ensure timely deliverables.
• Oversee grant compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage and review financial grant reporting with schedules and documentation.
• Coordinate audits and respond to audit requests.
• Maintain grant files and documentation for audit readiness.
• Provide training on budgets and compliance to program staff.
