Job summary

Family Health Care Centers of Greater Los Angeles, Inc. (FHCCGLA) seeks a Grants and Compliance Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of grants, from research to closeout, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and donor regulations and driving funding outcomes.

You will partner with executive leadership and the CFO to align budgets with proposals, renew grants, and deliver compelling narratives that advance FHCCGLA’s mission across Greater Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, nonprofit management or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in grant writing, compliance & management.
• AGWA Certification, preferred.
• FQHC experience and HRSA/federal grant familiarity preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to write compelling proposals including LOIs/LOS and progress/final reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work with CFO to develop grant budgets.
• Willingness to attend events outside hours.
• Ability to travel; California Driver License required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of grants—from proposal submission to closeout.
• Research funding opportunities and prepare compelling proposals.
• Prepare progress and final reports and ensure donor and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership and program staff to align objectives and budgets.
• Maintain grant tracking and reporting dashboards for audit readiness.
• Develop donor stewardship plans and manage communications with funders.
• Coordinate with CFO to reconcile grants and budgets for audits.
