Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Legal Advisor for Fighter & Mobility programs. You will advise executive leadership, negotiate government contracts, and oversee compliance with FAR/DFARS across international sites.

The role requires a J.D., 10+ years of legal and contracts experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government-issued Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is required to qualify for this position.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and 10+ years of legal and contracts experience.
• Experience with government contracting (FAR/DFARS).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal legal advisor to Fighter & Mobility leadership and PMO on legal issues related to engine programs.
• Negotiate contracts, subcontracts, industrial participation agreements, and other agreements with the U.S. Government, foreign governments, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Serve as primary legal advisor for governance issues relating to numerous of Pratt & Whitney's international sites and entities.
• Lead the resolution of disputes arising from or related to Fighter & Mobility engine programs.
• Collaborate with attorneys for other program areas and functional teams to ensure coordinated support for Fighter & Mobility programs.
• Support in-person events and classified engagements, which may require travel.
