Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Associate Director for Clinical Supply Chain - Logistics and Vendor Management. You will lead the global logistics network for clinical supplies, build strong vendor partnerships, and develop your team while ensuring compliance with GMP/GDP and regulatory standards.

You will own distribution strategy, budget, and performance across regions, driving continuous improvement and value creation with cross-functional partners in a fast-paced development environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s with 3+ years of supply chain leadership experience or
• Bachelor’s with 9+ years in supply chain leadership
• 3+ years direct people management experience required
• Fluency in English and strong collaboration across regions required
• Experience in regulatory environments (GMP, GDP) preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage global Logistics and Vendor Management in Development Supply Chain
• Develop and maintain vendor partnerships to meet quality and regulatory standards
• Oversee budget and cost optimization for distribution activities
• Lead and coach a professional team; ensure training and resource allocation
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and global counterparts for alignment
• Represent DSC in audits, inspections, and internal networks
• Drive process improvements and technology roadmap execution
• Travel up to 5-10% as needed
