Job summary

VML is seeking an Associate Director, SEO (Generative Engine Optimization) in the United States with a strong GEO/AI-visibility background. The role focuses on strategy, content briefs, and prompt-set design across markets.

You will facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders, collaborate with cross‑discipline teams, and drive post-launch optimization in a hybrid work environment. The base salary range is $75,000—$180,000 USD, with a hybrid model requiring in-office and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of SEO agency experience.
• Demonstrable GEO or AI-visibility experience.
• Experience facilitating client workshops or strategy sessions.
• Hands-on demo environment work before client-facing engagement.
• Experience with enterprise brand visibility platforms.
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMRush, Deepcrawl, STAT, Screaming Frog, MOZ.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured strategy sessions with client marketing and product stakeholders.
• Translate content framework output into actionable briefs for client teams.
• Build and expand prompt sets across products, languages, and markets.
• Manage post-launch optimization, uplift reporting, and gap reviews.
• Demonstrate platform fluency in client trainings and live reviews.
• Collaborate with Paid Search and Performance Content teams for holistic impact.
