Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, MA, is seeking an Associate Director to advance the Deerfield Fund. Reporting to the Director, the role develops fundraising strategies, plans annual campaigns and leads donor stewardship.

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5–7 years in Advancement or similar related work experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
• Experience providing leadership, management and mentorship to staff
• Experience in managing volunteers
• Ability to travel and work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Develop overall fundraising strategy and annual campaigns including mail & digital appeals.
• Analyze program metrics to guide ROI and resource allocation.
• Lead donor stewardship program and Reunion fundraising for 20th and 25th classes.
• Co-manage class volunteer program and recruitment/training.
• Track leadership prospect activity and report updates.
• Oversee staff performance and development within the Deerfield Fund.
