Deerfield Academy is seeking an Associate Director of the Deerfield Fund to advance fundraising strategy and donor stewardship. The role leads the work of the Assistant Director for Young Alumni, supports planning and assessments of annual campaigns, and collaborates with Leadership Gifts and Alumni Relations to maximize giving and engagement.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in advancement or related work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Experience providing leadership, management and mentorship to staff.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Commitment to diversity and serving a diverse community.
• Ability to manage confidential information.

Responsabilités

• Develop overall fundraising strategy with the Director and plan annual campaigns.
• Lead donor stewardship and manage reunion fundraising for 20th and 25th classes.
• Analyze program metrics to guide future planning and resource allocation.
• Coordinate communications and deadlines with Communications Office and vendors.
• Oversee staff performance and professional development of the Assistant Director.
• Support recruitment, orientation, and training of new staff in partnership with HR.
