Howden Re North America is seeking an Associate Director - Facultative for Property/Energy in New York. You will support renewal strategy, analyze reinsurance structures, and prepare client materials to advise on market conditions.

The role requires 3-5 years in a business setting, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical/communication skills. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits accompany this exempt role.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a business-related position & environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management & Insurance, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a business-related field.
• Interest in pursuing a career within Reinsurance.
• Proactive, creative and analytical thinker that works well independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support senior team members to establish renewal strategy and execution plans.
• Develop ability to compare/contrast reinsurance structures and evaluate cost/benefit.
• Create client presentations on structure, pricing, and market conditions.
• Build submissions and detailed technical analyses for client portfolios.
• Coordinate pre/post binding due diligence for reinsurance transactions.
• Partner with Contract Drafting and legal/regulatory experts.
• Collaborate across Howden Re resources to deliver client service.
