Qualifications

• 5-7 years reinsurance broking experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of actuarial analysis and/or catastrophe modeling techniques.
• Comfort in working with analysis of policy bordereaux, loss runs, triangles, ILF tables, rate changes/on-level factors.
• Must be able to interpret expected loss and loss volatility metrics from exceedance probability curves.
• Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance regulatory and compliance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of key US facultative reinsurance clients, while supporting new business development opportunities.
• Develop and execute renewal and placement strategies that align with client objectives and market conditions.
• Oversee the preparation of client submissions, presentations and placement materials.
• Building submission and detailed technical analyses for client portfolios.
• Contract wording negotiations and close coordination with contract drafters and legal/regulatory experts.
• Assist clients with profitability analysis and development of growth strategies.
