Indiana University’s Capital Campus in Washington, DC seeks an Associate Director for Experiential Learning and Partnerships to build internships, co‑ops, and experiential learning opportunities for IU students in the nation’s capital.

The role focuses on securing high‑quality placements, developing partnerships with government agencies, think tanks, nonprofits, and private sector partners, and collaborating with IU career services and academic departments to align opportunities with student

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 8 years in employer relations, career consulting, or a related field.
• Ability to develop and maintain partnerships with diverse organizations in Washington, DC.
• Strong written and verbal communication, professionalism, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Advance student opportunities by securing high-quality internship placements and immersive experiential learning sites.
• Identify and secure new partnerships for internships across government, non-profits, think tanks, and private sector.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of vetted internship sites for IU students.
• Collaborate with IU career services and departments to align goals with partner needs.
• Represent IU at DC-area events to promote internship opportunities and engagement.
• Plan on-campus recruitment events and serve as primary contact for employers visiting campus.
• Monitor trends and analyze data on employer engagement, placements, and student outcomes.
