Job summary

UIC Center for Clinical and Translational Science is hiring an Associate Director of Evaluation and Tracking to plan, develop, and implement core strategies for capturing data on outputs and outcomes across programs. You will design research procedures, lead data collection, and produce regular reports to demonstrate impact.

The role requires a Master’s degree (PhD preferred) and at least five years in research or program evaluation, plus robust data analysis and communication skills for diverse

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health, biological, social, or behavioral science required; PhD preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in research, program evaluation, data analysis, or performance measurement.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing quantitative and/or qualitative research or evaluation studies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods; experience with at least one analytical tool (R, Python, Stata, SPSS).
• Experience working with complex datasets, data cleaning, management, and interpretation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, or presentations that translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement evaluation and tracking strategies for the unit.
• Lead data collection, analysis, and reporting to measure performance across programs.
• Coordinate with senior leadership and CTSA groups to develop metrics and communicate findings.
• Represent CCTS at national meetings and CTSA consortium activities.
• Produce regular reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
