Job summary

The UMKC Institute for Human Development seeks a Research & Evaluation Coordinator (Senior Research Assistant) to support the Office of Research & Evaluation. You will manage data collection, reporting, project workflows, and disseminate findings while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

This 12-month, in-person role requires a Master’s degree and at least three years in social/health research or program evaluation. Competitive salary and benefits accompany travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience in research or program evaluation.
• Area of study in social work, public health, informatics, or related fields.
• Experience with grants, research projects, data handling, and evaluation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Office of Research & Evaluation.
• Manage intake, consultation, and project requests, connecting teams with support.
• Coordinate and support research, evaluation, and data activities for partners.
• Manage NIRS data collection, quality assurance, reporting, and outcome tracking.
• Maintain research tools, templates, protocols, and shared resources.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and dissemination products.
• Support grant proposal development and evaluation planning.
• Foster collaboration with program teams and community partners.
• Assist with IRB submissions and research compliance activities.
