Job summary

Cytel is seeking an Associate Director of Epidemiological Statistical Programming to provide technical leadership and mentorship within the epidemiology programming function. This role will oversee complex epidemiological projects, ensuring accurate, reproducible outputs across multiple data sources including RWE studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, computer science, data science, or related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of relevant statistical programming experience in pharma/biotech/CRO/life sciences.
• Experience with epidemiological, observational, real‑world data (RWE) studies.
• Advanced programming in SAS and/or R; reproducible programming workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to statistical programmers on epidemiological and real‑world studies.
• Lead hands‑on programming activities translating protocols into analytic solutions.
• Develop and maintain SAS/R programs for analysis datasets, tables, figures, and outputs.
• Mentor colleagues and promote best practices and standards.
