Fairfield University’s Dolan School of Business seeks an experienced events and communications professional to coordinate signature events, promote the school through targeted communications, and support external relations. The role oversees complex logistics, develops content, and collaborates with University Marketing on campaigns and sponsorships.
Evening/weekend attendance is required. Ideal candidates bring at least five years in program coordination, marketing, or customer service, and

DEPARTMENT: Dolan School of Business
BASIC FUNCTION: Primary point of contact for Dolan School of Business signature events and communications to support Dolan strategic initiatives. Oversees the planning, execution, and marketing of Dolan signature events. Supports promotion of the Dolan School of Business through written communications, website management, social media, and external relations.
Attend evening/weekend functions as required.
Proficiency in various computer systems including MS Office, social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.), Canva, Constant Contact, and website management preferred. Events management experience managing multilevel projects simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, writing and communication skills are required.
A Bachelor’s Degree is required or equivalent related experience.
A minimum of five years of experience in program coordination, marketing, and/or customer service is required.
