Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated seeks an Associate Director of Customer Master to lead the Customer MDM domain within Vertex's Enterprise MDM program. You will own the customer master, its consumption layer, and the platform roadmap, driving cloud modernization and AI-enabled improvements for trusted data across analytics and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field is required.
• 8+ years of experience in Master Data Management.
• 3+ years leading MDM programs/projects.
• Experience in life sciences or regulated industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical ownership of the Customer Master domain within Vertex's enterprise MDM strategy.
• Own the Customer MDM data product, including the customer master and its published consumption layer for downstream operational and analytics use cases.
• Oversee modernization and cloud migration of the Customer Master platform.
• Define and track KPIs for master data quality and platform performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enable data exchange across enterprise systems.
