Avocado Green Brands seeks an Associate Director of Content & Search Growth to launch an authority content platform and own organic traffic, engagement, and revenue. You will write and commission content on certifications, sourcing, and sustainability while aligning with brand standards.

You will lead SEO and AI visibility, manage a freelance bench, and collaborate with design, UX, and PR partners to ensure factual, substantiated content that resonates with direct-to-consumer buyers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of content, SEO, or copywriting experience for DTC or e-commerce brands.
• Exceptional writing ability with ability to adapt to an established brand voice.
• Proven track record leading content programs tied to revenue.
• Fluency with AI tools and workflows; ensure factual accuracy.
• Ability to report on revenue impact from content strategies.
• Experience with certified, regulated, or claims-heavy product content is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Launch and own an authority content platform on the main domain with IA and topic clusters.
• Own product detail, category, comparison, and landing pages copy; optimize CTAs and FAQs.
• Develop and manage SEO and AI visibility; monitor AI-generated answer presence.
• Translate product specs into compelling reasons to buy; align with brand voice.
• Substantiate claims with credible sources; manage a freelance writing bench.
