Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology to lead pharmacology strategy across programs in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role requires deep PK/PD expertise and interaction with senior management, regulatory bodies, and cross-disciplinary teams.

The position emphasizes design and execution of PK/PD studies, dose justification, and contribution to regulatory submissions. Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of experience required or Pharm D with 8+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• Knowledge in multiple therapeutic and/or functional areas.
• Experience across range of development phases.
• Leadership in PK/PD, Biopharmaceutics, and Pharmacometric activities.
• Scientific project leadership or related experience.
• Project management skills including scope, progress tracking, and time management.
• Experience with MIDD strategies in drug development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of clinical pharmacology strategy for assigned programs, integrating PK/PD and DDI assessments.
• Represent Clinical Pharmacology and provide support to clinical stage project teams.
• Design and oversee clinical pharmacology studies (e.g., dose escalation, PK/PD modeling).
• Provide input for regulatory submissions (IND, CTA, NDA).
• Review protocols and reports for regulatory filings and anticipate questions.
