Job summary

Travere Therapeutics in San Diego is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Pharmacology to lead the design and execution of pharmacology strategies across clinical programs. You will communicate strategies to senior management and regulators, and serve as a liaison to multiple R&D functions to ensure appropriate data interpretation and decision making.

The role requires a Ph.D. or equivalent, 4+ years in the field with PK/PD and MIDD experience, leadership, and the ability to drive study

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree or equivalent required; PharmD with 8+ years considered
• Experience leading clinical pharmacology strategies across development programs
• Strong PK/PD, Biopharmaceutics, and pharmacometrics capabilities
• Experience with regulatory submissions (IND/CTA/NDA) and cross-functional leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of clinical pharmacology strategy across programs
• Represent Clinical Pharmacology to project teams and senior management
• Design and oversee PK/PD studies including dose escalation and modeling
• Provide input for regulatory submissions and study reports
• Collaborate with Research, Regulatory, and other R&D functions
• Deliver timely clinical pharmacology input at key development milestones
