Job summary

Travere Therapeutics in San Diego, CA is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Pharmacology to lead the design, leadership, and execution of clinical pharmacology strategies across development programs. You will communicate key strategies to senior management and regulatory agencies and guide PK/PD analyses.

You will oversee study design, dose selection, and regulatory input, partnering with cross-functional teams to advance rare-disease programs; domestic and international travel up to 10%

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of experience or PharmD with 8+ years in a relevant field.
• Experience across development phases and leadership in PK/PD/Pharmacometrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of clinical pharmacology strategy for development programs, integrating PK/PD/dose relationships.
• Represent Clinical Pharmacology and provide guidance to project teams.
• Develop and oversee design of clinical pharmacology studies (dose escalation, PK/PD modeling).
• Provide input for regulatory submissions (IND/CTA/NDA).
• Collaborate with Research, Regulatory, and other R&D functions.
