Job summary

Stella Rising, a leading marketing and media agency, seeks an Associate Director, Client Strategy in the New York area to lead campaign strategy, oversee media planning, and mentor a growing team. You will bridge business goals with tactical media execution across multiple clients and channels.

You will guide client interactions, deliver data-driven insights, and drive innovative partnerships to advance brand outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Masters in media, marketing, business or related field preferred.
• Experience leading client strategy and media planning for multiple brands.
• Strong knowledge of cross-channel media tactics and performance measurement.
• Proven ability to mentor junior team members.
• Excellent presentation and client-facing communication skills.
• Deep understanding of platforms like Meta, TikTok, Google and programmatic buying.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and strengthen client connections, driving growth and retention.
• Lead the team in crafting media recommendations aligned with client objectives.
• Manage client interactions, media strategy, POVs and daily communications.
• Uncover media performance insights and present data-driven stories to clients.
• Own the research process for client partnerships and ensure strategic alignment.
• Gatekeeper for client-ready communications and deliverables.
• Lead cross-functional channel communication aligning with budgets and strategies.
• Oversee budgets and revenue, communicating changes impacting forecasting.
