Job summary

Amgen seeks an Associate Director, Information Systems to lead a portfolio supporting Value & Access with a focus on Coverage Pricing Intelligence, CapAI, and Pricing capabilities.

You will partner with business leaders, engineers, and product teams to define roadmaps, drive scalable technology solutions, and deliver measurable business value while ensuring delivery excellence and operational stability.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 3 years of Information Systems experience.
• OR Master\'s degree and 7 years of Information Systems experience.
• OR Bachelor\'s degree and 9 years of Information Systems experience.
• OR Associate\'s degree and 12 years of Information Systems experience.
• OR High school diploma / GED and 14 years of Information Systems experience.
• You must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technology leader for agile teams supporting Coverage Pricing Intelligence, CapAI, and Pricing capabilities.
• Define, own, and execute the strategic product roadmap and investment priorities for the product portfolio.
• Build partnerships with business leaders, engineering teams, enterprise architects, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, and dependency management.
• Establish and monitor OKRs and delivery metrics including product adoption and operational health.
• Apply data-driven decision making to prioritize investments and improve product capabilities.
• Drive AI and advanced analytics initiatives using modern data platforms and Generative AI.
• Provide leadership for platform operations including incident management and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering to deliver scalable cloud-based data and AI solutions.
• Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional teams with a culture of learning and accountability.
