Vividion Therapeutics, Inc. seeks an Associate Director, Accounting to strengthen and scale its accounting operations, reporting to the Controller. The role focuses on building capability, documentation, and leadership capacity to support long-term success.

The position leads the close process, drives process improvements, and partners with FP&A, Procurement, HR, IT, and Legal to ensure accurate reporting and governance. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate, timely, and predictable execution.
• Coordinate workflows across Accounting Managers, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and other business partners.
• Establish clear ownership, review standards, documentation, controls, and backup coverage for key deliverables.
• Stabilize and optimize Workday-enabled accounting processes, workflows, reporting, and controls.
• Partner with FP&A, Procurement, HR, IT, and Legal to coordinate accounting-related activities and resolve operational issues.
