Job summary

StradIT, based in Jersey City, NJ, seeks an experienced IT Sourcing and Category Management leader to drive global procurement strategies. This role will own RFx development, complex contract negotiations, and supplier governance across HW, software, telecom, cloud, and IT services.

The successful candidate will collaborate with legal, finance, risk, and business teams to design effective SLAs, manage supplier risk, and deliver measurable cost savings while maintaining strong vendor

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in IT strategic sourcing and category management at a global organization.
• Experience developing RFxs and negotiating HW, software, telecom/networking, cloud, and IT services contracts.
• Knowledge of enterprise IT vendors and emerging technology providers.
• Outstanding communication, translating complex sourcing concepts for business, legal, finance, and risk stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities independently.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Comfortable with organizational change and transformation.
• Understanding of financial, legal, and operational controls in regulated environments.
• Client service orientation; ability to partner with stakeholders to develop SLAs with technology suppliers.

• Experience and proven success developing RFxs and negotiating HW, software, telecom/networking, private cloud, public cloud, and IT professional services contracts.
• Knowledge of enterprise IT vendors as well as emerging technology providers.
• Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex sourcing and contractual concepts into terms that can be understood by business, legal, finance, and risk stakeholders.
• Strong organizational competency with the ability to independently manage competing priorities.
