Safran Aerosystems in North America, United States, New York is seeking an Associate Design Engineer to develop and sustain gaseous and chemical oxygen delivery systems and integrate high-performance pilot and passenger interfaces. The role guides products from concept to production to meet customer specs and regulatory standards.

Formación

• BS or equivalent in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from a four-year program.
• MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred.
• 1–3 years related design engineering experience.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficient in technical writing and strong communication.

Responsabilidades

• Create and revise designs for life support systems.
• Check and verify documentation including specs, drawings, procedures.
• Design, analysis, and evaluation of projects using sound engineering principles.
• Leverage prior mechanical design experience to meet deliverables on schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality and Project Engineers on changes and collaboration needs.
• Develop verification/validation plans and compliance methods per specs.
• Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers.
• Share engineering information and maintain open dialogue.
