NOVAIR USA North Tonawanda, NY is seeking a Design Engineer with a strong background in mechanical, biomedical, aerospace, or electrical engineering. You will own product design from concept through production, creating 3D models, drawings, schematics, and BOMs using SolidWorks.
You will lead hands-on R&D, participate in DFMA initiatives, and support FDA 510(k) readiness when applicable, collaborating with sales, vendors, and manufacturing to deliver high-quality medical gas system products.

This is a hands-on Design Engineer role requiring a Mechanical, Biomedical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering degree with a solid design engineering background, preferably within medical gas systems, industrial gas generation, or a related manufacturing industry. The Design Engineer serves as a key liaison between customers, vendors, sales, and the manufacturing floor.

The role involves standard design, test, and product-improvement engineering duties together with product support and Design for Manufacturing responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on design engineering experience (3–5+ years minimum considered for strong candidates) in:
