Job summary

42 North Dental, based around the Boston area, seeks a skilled Dentist to join our established practice. You will manage the full patient experience from exam to delivery of care, with in-office perio, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics as part of the services offered.

The position emphasizes clinical excellence, ongoing education, and competitive compensation; benefits include health insurance, dental/vision coverage, 401K, and opportunities for CE events through Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments through continuing education.
