Job summary

42 North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, seeks a Dentist to deliver comprehensive care in a thriving Boston-area practice. You’ll manage exams, treatment planning, and in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• Vaccination documentation for Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality of care and ethics.
• Stay updated on new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination documentation

Malpractice insurance proof

BLS or CPR certification
