Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a Dentist to join our Boston-area practice, responsible for the full clinical patient experience from exam to treatment. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer up to 36% of collections and a full-time schedule averaging 32 hours per week, with health insurance (HSA option), dental and vision coverage, 401K, and ongoing CE through Harvard Rounds Network to support your growth.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
