Job summary

42 North Dental in Massachusetts is seeking a Dentist to oversee the full patient care experience from exam to treatment plan and delivery. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics
• Stay updated on new developments through CE courses and professional development
