Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to join our team. The role involves the full patient care cycle from exams to treatment plans, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Flexible 2-5 days per week, 8AM-5PM, with compensation up to 36% of collections and a pathway to growth. Eligible candidates hold a DMD/DDS, a current state license, Hep B vaccination, malpractice coverage, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active state dentistry license.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B documented.
• Malpractice insurance coverage proof provided.
• BLS or CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostics; monitor growth and development.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care; perform procedures.
• Maintain highest standard of care and ethics; pursue ongoing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance
