Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is hiring a Dentist to manage the entire clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position supports either part-time or full-time schedules (2-5 days per week, 8AM-5PM) and offers compensation up to 36% of collections, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401K, CE opportunities, and more.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up to date with new developments and continuing education.

Education
