Job summary

42North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to join our team. The role supports the entire patient experience from exam to treatment, with in‑office specialists including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer flexible hours (part-time or full-time, 8AM–5PM, 2–5 days), competitive compensation up to 36% of collections, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients; maintain ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through CE and professional development

Education
