Job summary

Laurel Ridge Community College is seeking an Associate Dean for the School of Professional and Technical Studies to provide broad administrative leadership across programs such as Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and Skilled Trades.

The role oversees part-time faculty, coordinates course scheduling, and advances strategic priorities in partnership with the Dean and Academic/Student Affairs.

Responsibilities

• Support curriculum changes and assessment of courses/programs.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, supervise, evaluate adjunct faculty.
• Assist Dean with school operations including scheduling and budget planning.
• Represent the Dean in student-related matters and complaints.
• Develop strategic, student-centered class schedules with program leads.
• Lead administrative activities in meetings with internal/external stakeholders.
• Support assessment activities and program review.
