Job summary

Pitt Community College seeks an Associate Dean for Health Sciences to provide administrative leadership and strategic direction for Health Sciences programs within the college. Qualifications

• Active unencumbered license or multi-state licensure to practice as a healthcare professional.
• Master's degree in Health Sciences or related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive health sciences education experience, including teaching and leadership.
• Experience with accrediting bodies and compliance standards (ACOTE, CAAHEP, CAHIM, JRCERT, NLN, etc.).
• Experience in faculty supervision and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative leadership, oversight, and coordination of Health Sciences programs.
• Review accreditation reports and documentation; analyze data for program approval and compliance.
• Collaborate with Program Directors, Department Chairs, and Student Services to maintain records and student data.
• Support faculty recruitment, onboarding, and evaluation; participate in workload planning.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare organizations for academic-practice opportunities.
• Assist the Dean in strategic planning and ongoing program improvement.
