Job summary
University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School seeks a senior-level, entrepreneurial leader to design and grow its educational programs beyond the traditional JD pipeline. The role oversees the Master in Law portfolio, continuing legal education, an extensive online course catalog, and customized programs, with cross‑university collaboration.
The successful candidate will combine strategic vision with operational follow-through, building collaborations across the university and external partners
Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record of building or scaling revenue-generating programs with growth outcomes.
- Ability to navigate a university or similarly complex, consensus-driven institution.
- Strong people leadership and experience guiding seasoned professionals.
- Credibility to engage a world-class faculty and to represent the school externally.
- Advanced degree (JD, MBA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the growth strategy for the ML and non-degree program portfolio.
- Identify and pursue emerging domestic and international markets for legal education and revenue diversification.
- Build partnerships with corporations, law firms, healthcare systems, government agencies, and professional associations.
- Lead the Legal Education Programs staff and the Master in Law program, with organizational assessment and goal setting.
